13 October 2007 - 10th round in Hockenheim, Qualifying
Jamie Green (Salzgitter AMG Mercedes C-Class), winner of the previous DTM race in Barcelona, will start Sunday’s 2007 DTM season finale in Hockenheim as the best driver of an AMG Mercedes C-Class from fourth place on the grid. In the third part of qualifying, Green set a time of 1min33.028. Tom Kristensen (Audi/1:32.862) took pole position.

22nd/23rd September 2007 - Round nine in Barcelona
In the ninth round of the 2007 DTM in Barcelona this coming weekend, the new Mercedes-
Benz C-Class will start with its basic weight of 1,070 kilograms for the first time since the
season opener in Hockenheim on 22nd April, and so does the respective model of the
competition. Prior to the championship showdown with the races at the Circuit de Catalunya
and the finale in Hockenheim on 14th October, there is an equality of chances between
the title contenders.

22nd September 2007 - Round 9, Barcelona, qualifying
Mika Häkkinen (AMG Mercedes C-Class) will start tomorrow’s ninth and penultimate round of the 2007 DTM in Barcelona second on the grid. In Saturday’s qualifying on a drying track, Häkkinen set a time of 1min18.868 and was 0.179sec behind Audi driver Martin Tomczyk’s pole position time of 1min18.689.

1st/2nd September 2007 - Round 8 at the Nürburgring
With round eight at the Nürburgring this coming weekend, the 2007 DTM enters the start-and-finish straight with three races remaining until the finale in Hockenheim on 14th Oc-tober. At the “Ring”, Mercedes-Benz drivers have won six out of the new DTM’s 12 races since 2000, Audi took four wins and Opel two. In 2006, Bruno Spengler won at the wheel of his DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG-Mercedes C-Class. The most recent Mercedes-Benz vic-tory at the Nürburgring was achieved by Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Fernando Alonso in the European Grand Prix last month.

The seventh round of the 2007 DTM in Zandvoort, Netherlands this coming weekend is also the seventh DTM race at this track located 25 kilometres west of Amsterdam. In the six races in Zandvoort so far after the DTM premiere in 2001, Mercedes-Benz and Audi took turns winning the event – regarding their victories they are equal on wins three to three.

Bruno Spengler (2007 DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG Mercedes C-Class) will start Sunday’s seventh round of the 2007 DTM in Zandvoort as the best driver with a Mercedes-Benz C-Class sixth on the grid. In Saturday’s qualifying, Bruno set a time of 1min33.162 and was 0.339sec behind Timo Scheider’s pole position time of 1min32.823. The second C-Class driver to qualify for the top-eight was Paul di Resta (JAWA4U.de AMG Mercedes C-Class 2005); he will start seventh on the grid with a time of 1min33.400. Because of the Tour de France, the race will be started already at 13:00h.

14th/15th July 2007 - Round six in Mugello, Italy
The sixth round of the 2007 DTM will be staged at Mugello, Italy, 30 kilometres north of Florence this coming weekend. Five different drivers won the five races so far, among them were four Mercedes-Benz C-Class drivers – the most recent one was Bruno Spengler (2007 DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG Mercedes C-Class) who won at the Norisring two and a half weeks ago.

23rd June 2007 - Round 5, Norisring, qualifying
Bruno Spengler (DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG Mercedes C-Class) will start Sunday’s fifth round of the 2007 DTM at Nuremberg’s Norisring on Sunday from his third pole position of the year. In an exciting qualifying on a wet track, which was drying out only in the closing minutes, Spengler posted a best time of 55.963sec. Mika Häkkinen (AMG Mercedes C-Class/56.199sec) was second fastest ahead of Bernd Schneider (Genuine Parts AMG Mercedes C-Class/56.261sec); the two winners of the last two races.

9th June 2007 - Round 4, Brands Hatch, qualifying
Mika Häkkinen (AMG Mercedes C-Class) will start Sunday?s fourth round of the 2007 DTM at Brands Hatch, England from pole position. In an exciting qualifying, the Finn set a time of 42.660sec and was 32 thousandths of a second ahead of Bruno Spengler (DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG Mercedes C-Class) who qualified second. The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class now took all four pole positions of the season; Häkkinen, the winner of the last race at the Lausitzring took two poles as well as Spengler who had been the fastest qualifier there.

19th/20th May 2007 - Third round at the Lausitzring
Six podium positions, six different drivers: Six different drivers occupied the six podium positions of the 2007 season’s first two races. In addition to Audi drivers Mattias Ekström and Martin Tomczyk as well as Daniel la Rosa at the wheel of the 2006 TrekStor AMG Mercedes C-Class in Hockenheim, Gary Paffett (2006 Laureus AMG Mercedes C-Class), Paul di Resta (2005 JAWA4U.de AMG Mercedes C-Class) and Mike Rockenfeller (2006 Audi) were at the top in Oschersleben. Last year, Bernd Schneider repeated his victory in the season opener in the second race; Tom Kristensen (Audi) came home second twice. Only third place changed: Mika Häkkinen (AMG Mercedes C-Class), third at the Lausitzring, followed Heinz-Harald Frentzen (Audi), third in Hockenheim.

Bruno Spengler (DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG Mercedes C-Class) will start Sunday?s third round of the 2007 DTM at the Lausitzring from pole position. In the qualifying„s thrilling third part, the Canadian set a time of 1min18.408sec, which was the fastest lap of the weekend so far. It is the fourth DTM pole for Spengler and his second of the year after Hockenheim four weeks ago. The race version of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is on pole the third time in the third race of the season.

5th May 2007 - Round 2, Oschersleben, qualifying
Mika Häkkinen at the wheel of the new AMG Mercedes C-Class will start Sunday’s second round of the 2007 DTM in Oschersleben from the top spot on the grid (1min22.456sec, fastest time of all practice sessions). On the occasion of AMG’s 40th anniversary, it was Mika’s second pole after Spa-Francorchamps almost two years ago, and the second for the race version of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class. On the new car’s racing premiere at Hockenheim two weeks ago, Bruno Spengler (DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG Mercedes C-Class) had been the fastest qualifier. In the third part of today’s qualifying, the Canadian posted a time of 1min22.625sec and is third on the grid. Jamie Green (Salzgitter AMG Mercedes C-Class) qualified fifth with 1min22.791sec; Gary Paffett (Laureus AMG Mercedes) ended up eighth with 1min23.134sec at the wheel of the 2006 C-Class. In the second part of qualifying, Bernd Schneider (Genuine Parts AMG Mercedes C-Class) ended up tenth after he was held up by another car and lost two t

2007 DTM, round 1, Hockenheim, qualifying
Great debut for the new AMG Mercedes C-Class in the DTM season opener: In the first DTM race of the new C-Class, Bruno Spengler (DaimlerChrysler Bank AMG Mercedes) will start from pole position, three weeks after the market launch of the street version. In a thrilling qualifying, Spengler, the 2006 runner-up, posted a time of 1:34.369 minutes and was 0.077sec faster than Martin Tomczyk (Audi A4 DTM) in second place. In Sunday’s race, Bruno will start from first spot on the grid for the third time in his DTM career.
